If you’re looking for guidance on how to correctly add the app block to your theme editor, this article is for you.

There are two main ways to add our app block to your theme editor.

Important note: App blocks only work after you create a campaign with a video added. The block requires a valid Campaign ID or campaign priority to function.

### Method 1: Add block directly from our app (Recommended)

After creation, you’ll see **3 guided steps** to display the carousel. Then:

* Click **Add block** > select the **page** where you want the carousel to appear > Copy the Campaign ID** > Click Continue**

You’ll be redirected to the Theme Editor. On this page, the block will be **automatically added** to the selected page. Then paste the Campaign ID into the provided field or leave it as blank to display carousel based on priority.

Campaign with priority 1 will display the first and hide all campaigns will larger one.

* Click **Save**.

*(Optional)* Edit the heading text, sub heading text, if desired directly in the Theme editor.

You can also access the **App block** option from the **Placement** section on the campaign customization page and follow the same steps.

### Method 2: You can add lock manually via Theme Editor

You don’t need to use the “Add block” button in our app — you can do it directly:

1. Go to **Shopify Admin** → **Online Store** → **Themes**. > Click **Customize** on the theme you want to edit.

2. Navigate to the desired **page template** (e.g., Homepage, Product, Collection).

3. Click **Add section** (or **Add block** in some themes).

4. Scroll to **Apps** → Select **Reelpik** (our app).

5. Choose the appropriate block (see below).

6. **Paste your Campaign ID** or leave it as blank to use campaign priority into the input field.

7. Click **Save**.
