Hi there, welcome to ReelPik Shoppable Video app!
If you're new, this helpdesk is for you if you're using our app for the first time and want to get familiar with it. Not too much talk; follow these steps to set up floating reels on your store.
Step 1: Create a Campaign
Here, click Create campaign > then select Campaign type > select Floating reel.
Step 2: Upload your shoppable video
- In the Videos section, there are 4 options to choose your data source: Device, TikTok, Instagram or Shopify files to use video files you uploaded before. You can upload up to 5 media files at once to save time.
Note: You need to wait a few minutes for the video to upload successfully. You can visit Contents in your admin > Files to see if the video is uploaded or not.
If you see the video is not uploaded yet or wait too long for it, feel free to contact us.
Step 3: Tag products
All products in shoppable videos must be tagged so customers can purchase directly.
You can tag many products per video (we recommend only choosing products that actually appear in the video).
- To add products, click + button on the right side of the imported video and select from your product list.
You can view and edit the product list by clicking the Pencil icon to view, delete and update the selection.
Step 4: Choose display location
By default, all pages will be automatically selected.
If you want to edit the settings, like only displaying the carousel on a specific product or collection, you need:

Click the product page /collection page

Select products /collections you want to display the floating reel on.
Besides, if you want to show the floating reel on all products in one collection, you can select the option: All products from specific collections
Step 5: Save your campaign
Kindly click Save in the Shopify editor bar.
Always save after making changes to avoid losing progress.
Step 6: Enable the App embeds (MUST HAVE STEP)
After saving the campaign, you will see the setup guide display; here you can see criteria that help the floating reel display.
- Click the Enable app embed button on Step 3 or go to Online store > select theme you want to test this feature.
- Enable the app embeds named: Reelpik floating reels. > Hit Save button after that.
You can now preview the carousel normally on your store.
If the floating reel does not display on your store, please check out this helpdesk article to ensure you have completed all steps.

If shoppable videos still don't display, here’s what you can do:

Duplicate your live theme and activate our app embeds and add block on the homepage on the duplicated theme.

Share the preview link of the duplicated theme with us so we can investigate and resolve the issue without affecting your live theme. If your theme is password-protected, please provide the password as well. (Click here to chat with us)

While we work on the issue, you can temporarily deactivate the app embeds and hide blocks on your live theme.
