What is Shoppable video?

Hello from Reelpik, Shoppable video is a form of interactive video content with embedded product links. Viewers can use these links to add featured products to an online shopping cart without clicking away from the video. Shoppable content provides a user-friendly shopping experience and helps publishers increase engagement. Where do Shoppable videos appear? Shoppable videos will appear on the pages where you add or enable them. Currently, our app supports two display types: 1. Carousel widget: The carousel widget can be placed on: - Homepage - Product pages - Collection pages 2. Floating reel: The floating reel is displayed in the corner of your store and can appear on all pages. Tip: Make sure you’ve correctly selected the pages in your campaign settings to ensure your videos display where you want them. 3. Product video: The product video is displayed in the product pages - above add to cart button to showcase all videos attached this product. For example, if you have 5 video all attach product A, then if you access the product A, you will see 5 videos on this product page. Product videos - Collect videos from all campaigns you’ve created. - Only show videos that are linked to a single product. - These videos are grouped together and displayed as that product’s video section. To make the most of our shoppable video features, it’s important to understand the video upload and storage limits that Shopify itself applies based on your subscription plan. These limits determine how many video files and how much total video storage your Shopify store can use and they apply to all video assets you upload through ReelPik or directly into Shopify’s content files. Your video contents whether product demos, user-generated content, or influencer reels should work within Shopify’s plan limits. If you hit your upload or storage cap, new videos may fail to upload or might require you to upgrade your Shopify subscription. Understanding these limits helps you plan your content strategy and avoid surprises. It counts toward your store’s video file quota and total video storage limits. 1. Managing your files - If you reach the video count limit, you’ll need to remove unused videos before uploading more. - If you hit the storage limit, reducing the total file size (e.g., compressing files or using shorter clips) helps free space. How to use snippet code to display the video section?

Overview The Snippet Code feature allows you to manually display a ReelPik video section on your storefront by inserting a snippet into your Shopify theme. This gives you greater flexibility to place the video section exactly where you want, especially for vintage themes that do not support Shopify App Blocks. How to add the snippet code Step 1: Open your campaign and copy the code 1. Go to ReelPik Videos → Campaigns. 2. Open the campaign you want to display. 3. Copy the campaign snippet. Step 2: Enable the app embed 1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. 2. Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar. 3. Enable ReelPik Videos. 4. Click Save. The App Embed must be enabled for the video section to work properly. Step 3: Edit your theme code 1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Click ••• → Edit code on your published theme. 2. Open the Liquid file where you want the video section to appear. 3. Paste the copied snippet into the desired location. 4. Click Save. You can adjust the spacing by edting the snippet code. Example: "style="margin-top: 50px;" Step 5: Verify the video section 1. Refresh your storefront. 2. Confirm that the video section appears in the expected location. 3. If necessary, move the snippet to a different position in the Liquid file to adjust where the video section is displayed. Best Practices For the best experience, we recommend: - Add the snippet only to the pages where you want the video section to appear. - Test the layout on both desktop and mobile devices. - Preview your theme after making changes before publishing.
