How to create a floating reel campaign?
Overview Turn your videos into an engaging shopping experience with ReelPik Floating Reels. Floating Reels display your shoppable videos in a floating video player on your storefront, allowing customers to watch your content and discover products while browsing your store. Follow the steps below to create and display a Floating Reel on your store. How to create a Floating Reel campaign? Step 1: Create a campaign 1. Go to ReelPik Videos → Campaigns. 2. Click Create Campaign. 3. In the Widget type section, select Floating Reel. You will then see the Floating Reel campaign settings below. Step 2: Add your shoppable videos You can choose from different video sources: - Device – Upload videos directly from your device. - TikTok – Import videos from TikTok. - Instagram – Import videos from Instagram. - Shopify Files – Use videos that you have previously uploaded to Shopify. Note: Video uploads may take a few minutes to complete. You can also go to Shopify Admin → Content → Files to check whether your uploaded video is available. Step 3: Link products to your videos Make your videos shoppable by connecting relevant products to each video. For a video without linked products: 1. Click Link products or the Shopping bag icon. 2. Select the products you want to connect. Once products have been linked, the button will change to Edit products. You can click Edit products to: - View linked products - Add more products - Remove products - Update the product selection We recommend linking only products that are featured or relevant to each video. Tip: Each video can have its own product selection, so make sure the linked products match the content of that specific video. Step 4: Configure display settings Scroll down to the Display settings section to choose where your Floating Reel should appear. You can customize the display placement based on your store's needs, such as displaying the Floating Reel on specific products or collections. Tip: Choose display locations that are relevant to your video content to provide a better shopping experience. Step 5: Save and activate your campaign After finishing your campaign settings: 1. Review your videos, linked products, and display settings. 2. Change the status to Active and click Save. Make sure to save your changes before leaving the campaign page to avoid losing your progress. Step 6: Enable the ReelPik app embed (MUST-HAVE step) Floating Reel uses a theme app embed, so you need to enable the ReelPik Floating Reels app embed for it to appear on your storefront. After saving your campaign, follow the setup guide provided by ReelPik and click Enable app embed. Alternatively, you can enable it manually: 1. Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify Admin. 2. Select the theme you want to use. 3. Open the App embeds section. 4. Find ReelPik Floating Reels. 5. Enable the app embed. 6. Click Save. You can now preview your storefront to check whether the Floating Reel is displayed correctly. Best Practices for Floating Reels 1. Link relevant products Only link products that are featured or relevant to each video. Accurate product linking helps shoppers discover and purchase the products shown in your content. 2. Choose the right display settings Use the Display settings to control where your Floating Reel appears. For example, you can display product-specific videos on relevant product pages or show them across products within a selected collection. 3. Use high-quality videos Choose clear and engaging videos that showcase your products effectively. 4. Preview before going live After enabling the app embed, preview your storefront to make sure: - The Floating Reel appears correctly. - The correct videos are displayed. - Products are linked correctly. - The Floating Reel appears on the intended pages. What to do if the Floating Reel doesn't appear? If your Floating Reel does not appear on your storefront, first check the following: - Your campaign has been activated. - Your videos have finished uploading. - Products have been linked correctly. - The correct Display settings have been selected. - ReelPik Floating Reels app embed is enabled. - You have clicked Save after enabling the app embed. If the Floating Reel still doesn't display, here's what you can do: 1. Duplicate your live theme in Shopify. 2. Enable the ReelPik Floating Reels app embed on the duplicated theme. 3. Make sure your Floating Reel campaign is active. 4. Share the preview link of the duplicated theme with our support team. 5. If your theme is password-protected, please provide the store password as well. This allows our team to investigate the issue without affecting your live theme. While we investigate the issue, you can temporarily deactivate the ReelPik app embed on your live theme. Important Notes - Select Floating Reel directly from the Widget type section when creating a campaign. - Floating Reel uses an app embed, not an app block. - ReelPik Floating Reels must be enabled in your theme for the widget to appear. - Your campaign must be active to display on your storefront. - You can add up to 5 videos at once. - Each video can have its own linked products. - Video uploads may take a few minutes to complete. - Always click Save after making changes. How to create a carousel/grid/highlight campaign?
Overview Turn your homepage into an engaging shopping experience with ReelPik Shoppable Videos. With ReelPik, you can showcase your shoppable videos directly on your homepage using three popular formats: - Carousel – Display multiple videos in a horizontal carousel. - Highlight – Highlight your videos in an eye-catching section. - Grid – Display multiple videos in a clean grid layout. The setup process is the same for all three campaign types. In this guide, we'll use a Grid campaign as an example. If you prefer watching instead of reading, 👉 check out our video tutorial to learn how to set up a shoppable video campaign. How to create a campaign? Step 1: Create a campaign 1. Go to ReelPik Videos → Campaigns. 2. Click Create Campaign. 3. Select Grid as the campaign type. Note: - You can follow the same setup process for Carousel and Highlight campaigns. - Remember to add your campaign title. Step 2: Upload your shoppable videos In the Videos section, you can choose from four different video sources: - Device – Upload videos directly from your device. - TikTok – Import videos from TikTok. - Instagram – Import videos from Instagram. - Shopify Files – Use videos that you have previously uploaded to Shopify. Note: Video uploads may take a few minutes. Please wait until your videos are successfully uploaded before continuing. Step 3: Tag products (Optional) Make your videos shoppable by connecting the relevant products to each video. Customers can then view the products featured in your video and purchase them directly from the shopping experience. To tag products: 1. Click the Product selector (below each video) to choose the products you want to link to your video. 2. Select the products you want to connect. You can tag multiple products in a single video. We recommend selecting only products that are actually featured or relevant to the video. To manage or rearrange your tagged products: - Manage: click the Edit products button. You can then view, remove, or update the product selection. - Rearrange: click the ▼ dropdown next to Edit Products, then select Rearrange products. Step 4: Set the display placement By default, the campaign may be configured to display across supported pages. You can also customize your campaign to appear on specific product or collection pages when needed. For example, you can choose: - Specific products - Specific collections - All products from specific collections - Homepage Tip: If you want to showcase your videos specifically on your homepage, make sure Homepage is selected as the display location. Step 5: Save and activate your campaign After finishing your Story setup: 1. Review your Stories and videos. 2. Make sure the correct products are linked. 3. Click Save. 4. Activate your campaign. Step 6: Add the ReelPik app block to your homepage (required step) Creating and saving a campaign does not automatically make the video appear on your storefront. You also need to add the ReelPik app block to your homepage. To add the app block: 1. Go to the Publish Widget section. 2. Click Add app block. 3. Select Homepage from the supported page options. 4. Click Continue. You will then be redirected to the Shopify Theme Editor. In the Theme Editor: 1. Customize the position and appearance of the ReelPik app block. 2. Make sure the block is enabled. 3. Click Save. You can then preview your storefront to check how your Grid campaign appears on the homepage. Best Practices for Homepage Video Campaigns 1. Choose the right video format Choose a format that matches your storefront design and content: - Grid – Ideal for displaying multiple videos at once. - Carousel – Great for letting shoppers browse several videos horizontally. - Highlight – Suitable for drawing attention to selected video content. 2. Tag relevant products Only connect products that are featured or relevant to your video. Accurate product tagging helps shoppers quickly understand what they can purchase from your content. 3. Use high-quality videos Use clear, engaging videos that showcase your products effectively. Short and visually engaging videos can help capture shoppers' attention and encourage them to explore your products. 4. Preview before publishing After adding the ReelPik app block, preview your homepage to make sure: - The video campaign appears in the correct location. - Videos are displayed correctly. - Product tags are connected to the right products. - The layout works well on your storefront. Important Notes - Carousel, Highlight, and Grid campaigns use the same setup process. - You must add the ReelPik app block to your Shopify Theme Editor for the campaign to appear on your storefront. - Always click Save after making changes. - Product tagging is required to make your videos shoppable. - Video uploads may take a few minutes to complete. - Display location settings determine where your campaign appears on your storefront. - If you experience display issues, testing the campaign on a duplicated theme helps our team troubleshoot without affecting your live store. How to create a story campaign?
Overview Create an engaging Story widget with ReelPik to showcase multiple groups of shoppable videos on your storefront. The Story widget allows you to create multiple Stories. Each Story is displayed as a separate circle on your storefront, and each circle can contain multiple videos. This makes the Story widget a great way to organize your videos into different topics, products, collections, or content themes. How to set up a Story widget? Step 1: Create a Story widget 1. Go to ReelPik Videos → Campaigns. 2. Click Create Campaign. 3. Select Story as the campaign type. 4. Click Create Story. Step 2: Add multiple Story circles After creating the campaign, you will see the Stories section. To create multiple Stories: 1. Click Add a new story. 2. Enter a name for your Story. 3. Repeat the process to create as many Stories as you need. For example, if you create: - Story 1: for Features - Story 2: for Feedback - Story 3: for Discount Your storefront will display 3 Story circles. Tip: Use clear and descriptive Story names to help you organize your content. Step 3: Add videos to each Story Each Story can contain multiple videos. To add videos: 1. Select the Story you want to edit. 2. Click Add videos. 3. Choose your preferred video source. 4. Select or upload the videos you want to add. When shoppers click the Story 1 circle on your storefront, they can watch these videos as part of the same Story. Step 5: Link products to your videos Make your Story videos shoppable by connecting relevant products. For each video: 1. Click Link products. 2. Select the products you want to connect to the video. 3. Use Edit Products if you want to view, remove, or rearrange linked products. We recommend linking only products that are featured or relevant to the video. Tip: Each video can have its own product selection, so make sure the products are relevant to the specific video. Step 6: Save and activate your campaign After finishing your Story setup: 1. Review your Stories and videos. 2. Make sure the correct products are linked. 3. Click Save. 4. Activate your campaign. Step 7: Add the ReelPik app block to your homepage (required step) Creating and saving a campaign does not automatically make the video appear on your storefront. You also need to add the ReelPik app block to your homepage. To add the app block: 1. Go to the Placement section. 2. Click Add app block. 3. Select Homepage from the supported page options. 4. Click Continue. Best Practices for Story Widgets 1. Create Stories with a clear theme Group related videos into the same Story. For example: - New Arrivals - Best Sellers - Summer Collection - Customer Reviews - Behind the Scenes This helps shoppers quickly find the content they're interested in. 2. Add multiple videos to each Story A Story can contain multiple videos, so take advantage of this to provide more content without creating too many Story circles. 3. Keep product links relevant Make sure the products linked to each video match the products shown or discussed in that video. 4. Don't create unnecessary Stories Create additional Stories when you have meaningful content to organize. Too many Story circles can make the widget harder for shoppers to browse. Important Notes - Each Story represents one circle on your storefront. - You need to create multiple Stories if you want to display multiple circles. - Each Story can contain multiple videos. - Videos within the same Story can be reordered. - Products can be linked separately to each video. - Removing a Story removes that Story from the campaign. - You must save and activate your campaign for the Story widget to appear on your storefront. How to create an Instagram feed campaign?
Overview Bring your Instagram content directly to your Shopify storefront with ReelPik Instagram Feed. With Instagram Feed, you can automatically sync media from Instagram and display it on your store using different widget layouts. You can control which content is synced, how many media items are displayed, how they are sorted, and where the feed appears on your storefront. How to create an Instagram Feed campaign Step 1: Select widget type 1. Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign 2. Choose widget type: Instagram Feed Note: Not available on Legacy plan. Step 2: Choose your Instagram content source In the Sync media section, choose the Instagram content you want ReelPik to sync. Under Source, you can select: - User account – Sync media published by a specific Instagram account. - Account mention – Sync Instagram content that mentions the selected account. - Hashtag – Sync content associated with a specific hashtag. After choosing a source, enter or select the corresponding Instagram account or hashtag. Tip: Choose the source that best matches the type of Instagram content you want to showcase. For example, User account is suitable for displaying content directly from your brand's Instagram account. Step 3: Configure your media settings Next, customize which media ReelPik should sync and display. Media type Choose the type of Instagram media you want to include: - Video – Sync videos from your Instagram Reels. - Image – Sync images from your Instagram Posts. - Video & image – Sync both videos and images from your Instagram Posts. Media limit Set the maximum number of media items you want to sync for the campaign. Sort by Choose how your synced Instagram media should be ordered: - Likes - Comments - Views - Date For example, selecting Likes can help prioritize content with more engagement. Note: Available sorting options may depend on the selected media type and Instagram data available to ReelPik. Step 4: Confirm content permission Before using the synced Instagram media, check: "I have permission from the content creator to use this media." This confirms that you have permission to display the selected content on your storefront, then click Load media to fetch the content before continuing. Important: Make sure you have the necessary rights or permission to use content from other creators, especially when syncing content through mentions or hashtags. Step 5: Save and activate the campaign Once the campaign is created and activated, ReelPik will begin syncing your Instagram media. The Sync media section displays information about the synchronization process, including the latest and upcoming sync when available. Note: - Media syncing starts after the campaign is created and activated. - Instagram media is synced periodically, so newly published content may not appear immediately. After syncing is complete, review the media displayed in your campaign to make sure the correct content has been imported. Step 6: Choose where to display your Instagram Feed Use Display settings to control where the campaign appears on your Shopify store. This gives you control over which customers and pages will see each Instagram Feed campaign. Tip: If you're creating a general brand Instagram feed, the Home page is a good place to start. For product-specific social content, consider displaying the feed only on relevant product pages. Step 7: Publish the Instagram Feed with an app block (required) Creating and saving a campaign does not automatically make the video appear on your storefront. You also need to add the ReelPik app block to your homepage. To add the app block: 1. Go to the Publish Widget section. 2. Click Add app block. 3. Select Homepage, Collection page, or Product page from the supported page options. 4. Click Continue. You will then be redirected to the Shopify Theme Editor. In the Theme Editor: 1. Customize the position and appearance of the ReelPik app block. 2. Make sure the block is enabled. 3. Click Save. You can then preview your storefront to check how your Instagram feed campaign appears on the homepage. Note: If you need more control over where your Instagram feed appears, ReelPik also provides Snippet code. Best Practices for Instagram feed campaigns 1. Choose the right content source Use User account when you want a consistent feed of your own Instagram content. Use Account mention or Hashtag when you want to showcase content created by your community or other Instagram users. Always make sure you have permission to use the content you display. 2. Choose the right media type If your Instagram strategy focuses mainly on Reels, select Video. If you mainly publish photos, select Image. Choose Video & image when you want customers to see a broader mix of your Instagram content. 3. Use sorting strategically Different sorting options can serve different goals. For example, sorting by Likes, Comments, or Views can help surface engaging content, while Date can be useful when you want to prioritize recent Instagram content. 4. Preview your feed Before publishing, use Preview feed and check that: - The correct Instagram content is being synced. - The selected media type is correct. - The feed contains an appropriate number of posts. - The sorting matches your intended result. - You have permission to display the content. After publishing, also preview the actual Shopify storefront on both desktop and mobile. What are ReelPik product videos and how to edit them?
Overview The Product Videos block lets you display videos directly on your product pages. Product videos help shoppers better understand your products, build trust, and make faster buying decisions — which can lead to higher sales. What are Product Videos The Product Videos block automatically displays videos tagged to the product shoppers are currently viewing. - How it works: The block automatically shows all videos tagged to a specific product. - Example: If you’ve created a campaign with 5 videos linked to Product A, all 5 videos will appear on Product A’s page. - Video display: The widget displays 4 videos at a time. Shoppers can click Next/Back to browse the remaining videos. When Product Videos Appear Product videos will only be displayed when: - The product is tagged to one or more videos. - A campaign containing those videos has been created. Product Video section. Tip: Make sure your videos are tagged to the correct products so shoppers see relevant video content on each product page. How to Add Product Videos to Product Page Follow these steps to add the Product Videos block to your Shopify product pages: 1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes. 2. Find your current theme and click Customize. 3. At the top of the Theme Editor, select your Product template (for example, Default product). 4. In the left sidebar, click Add section. 5. Switch to the Apps tab. 6. Find and select ReelPik Product Videos. 7. Position the section where you want the videos to appear on your product page. 8. Click Save. Once added, the Product Videos section will automatically display videos that are tagged to the product the shopper is currently viewing. Note: You don’t need to create a separate Product Videos section for each product. The same section can automatically show different videos depending on which product page the shopper visits. Tip: If no videos appear, make sure: - The videos are tagged to the correct product. - A campaign containing those videos has already been created. - The ReelPik Product Videos section has been added to the product template used by that product.
