How to adjust the widget width/padding in ReelPik?

Overview If your video widget appears narrower than other sections on your storefront, the difference may be caused by your theme’s section width, padding, or custom CSS. Follow the steps below to adjust the carousel width. How to Adjust the Carousel Width Step 1: Open Your Shopify Theme Editor 1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize. 2. Navigate to the page where your UGC Video Carousel is displayed. Step 2: Select the ReelPik UGC Video Carousel Click the ReelPik UGC Video Carousel section or app block in the Theme Editor. Step 3: Check the Width Settings Check whether your theme provides settings such as: - Full width - Container width - Section width If the Full width option is available, enable it to make the carousel extend across the same width as other sections. You can also check the left and right padding or margin settings and adjust them if necessary. Step 4: Check for Theme CSS Conflicts If the carousel width still doesn't match other sections after adjusting the settings, your theme may be applying custom CSS or a maximum-width rule to the ReelPik app block. In this case, please contact our support team and provide your Shopify collaborator request code. Our team can access your store and check the CSS/layout conflict for you. Notes - The available settings may vary depending on your Shopify theme. - Theme-level padding, margins, or max-width settings can affect how the ReelPik carousel is displayed. - Avoid adding custom CSS unless necessary, as it may override the ReelPik app block's default styling. How to display product reviews on the video player?

Adding reviews to your videos is a powerful way to build trust and encourage customers to purchase. ReelPik currently supports integrations with popular review apps like Judge.me, AliReviews, Air Reviews,... By displaying these ratings directly on the video player, you make your products more persuasive and help customers make faster buying decisions. To display reviews on the video player, you must first have reviews collected in your integrated review app (e.g., Judge.me). ReelPik syncs with this data to show your ratings in real-time. How to enable reviews in ReelPik? Follow these steps to turn on the review feature: - Go to the Customization page in the ReelPik app > Player section and click Customize. - Locate the Show product review setting and check the box to enable the feature. Once enabled, you can fine-tune how reviews look and behave: 1. Set minimum rating: Choose the threshold for reviews to appear. For example, if you set the Minimum Rating to 4 stars, only products with a 4-star average or higher will show their rating on the video player. 1. Change review color Adjust the color of the stars and text to match your brand’s theme and ensure they are easy to read against your video content. Where will the reviews appear? By default, the star rating is placed directly under the product title and above the product price for maximum visibility. Can I change the position of the reviews? Yes! If you would like the reviews to appear in a different spot on the player, please reach out to our support team. We are happy to provide a custom solution to fit your store's design. If you have trouble syncing your reviews or need a custom layout, feel free to contact us. We’re here to help you. See you! How to translate video from English to another languages?

ReelPik allows you to offer a localized shopping experience by translating widget text into multiple languages. This guide will show you how to set a default language, enable auto-detection, and manually refine your translations. 1. Set a default language If your store targets a specific country or you want all customers to see one specific language, you can set a global default. How to set it: - Navigate to Settings in the ReelPik app. - Go to General > Language Settings. - Under Default Language, choose your preferred language from the dropdown menu. - Click Save. Note: To test this feature, go to your storefront and refresh the page twice to ensure the cache updates and the new language is displayed. 2. Auto-detect website language If your Shopify store supports multiple languages and you sell worldwide, this feature ensures that ReelPik matches the language your customer is currently using on your site. Example: If a customer from France views your site in French, the ReelPik widget text will automatically display in French. This feature translates app-specific text (like "Add to Cart" buttons or "You may also like" headers). It does not translate product-specific data like descriptions or variants unless that data is already translated within your Shopify admin. How to set it: - Navigate to Settings in the ReelPik app. - Go to General > Language Settings. - Select option: Auto-detect website language - Click Save. To test this feature: Go to your storefront and refresh the page twice to ensure the cache updates and the new language is displayed. 🎁 Limited Time: Auto-detect website language for FREE! Currently, the auto-detect website language feature is available for free to all ReelPik users. To unlock this advanced feature, simply contact our support team via live chat or email. 3. Manual translation (Edit text manually) If the automatic translation doesn't perfectly match your brand's voice, you can manually edit any text string. How to edit: - Go to the Settings > Translation section. - Select the specific language you wish to edit. - Locate the text field you want to change and enter your custom translation. - Click Save to apply the changes. How to use priority for shoppable video campaign?

When you launch multiple campaigns, you need a way to control which one appears at any given time. This is where Priority settings come in. Priority dictates the "importance" of your campaigns, ensuring the most relevant one is displayed to your customers. Here is a breakdown of what campaign priority means and how our app uses it. Note: 1 is the highest priority How priority controls the display When you use the Reelpik blocks (like the Carousel or Floating reel) in your theme editor, the app checks the priority value if you haven't explicitly selected a campaign ID for that specific block. If the theme editor block is left blank, the app will always default to displaying the active campaign with the highest priority number. Essential priority rules to remember Please keep these rules in mind when setting up your campaigns: | Priority rule | Description | | ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Separate priorities | The priority for a Carousel campaign is separate from the priority for a Floating Reel campaign. They do not conflict with each other. | | Blank field (auto-assign) | If you leave the Priority field completely blank when creating a campaign, the app will automatically assign a default priority value. | | Tie-breaker | If you have multiple active campaigns with the exact same priority number (e.g., two campaigns both set to priority 3), the app will display the oldest campaign (the one that was created first). | We highly recommend that you set different priority numbers for each of your campaigns. This ensures you always know which campaign will display when the block ID is not specified. If you have any questions about structuring your campaigns, feel free to reach out! We value your feedback — it helps us continuously improve our apps and provide you with a better experience. 🖥️ Demo store: Check out here with password: 1 👉 Chat with us: Share your feedback directly with our team. 👉 Email us: hi@reelpik.com 👉 Explore more apps: Discover more Fordeer apps. 👉 Join our community: Join ForDeer Community to get the latest updates, tips, and special deals. 🕐 Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (UTC+7), Monday–Friday. How to customize your reelPik widgets and video player?

Overview ReelPik lets you turn your shoppable videos into a fully branded shopping experience — and every part of that experience is customizable. From the Customization page in your ReelPik dashboard, you can fine-tune how each widget type looks and behaves on your storefront (Carousel, Floating Reels, Player, Highlight, Grid, Story), as well as how the video player itself displays products, reviews, and the add-to-cart flow. This guide walks you through both: 1. Customizing widget types — the different ways your videos can be displayed on your store. 2. Customizing the video player — the pop-up player that opens when a customer taps a video, where the actual shopping happens. Part 1: How to Customize Your Widgets Step 1: Open the Customization page 1. Go to ReelPik Videos in your Shopify Admin. 2. Click Customization. 3. You'll see a card for each widget type. Click Customize on the widget you want to edit. Each widget opens its own Settings / Preview editor, where changes update live in the preview panel on the right. Step 2: Choose and configure your widget type ReelPik currently offers the following widget types: 1. Carousel/Highlight A horizontally swipeable row of shoppable videos. - Radius – Set the corner radius of each video card. - Spacing – Control the gap between videos. - Product card – Choose a card style (Minimal, Simple, Overlay, Frame, Card, or Add to Cart), and optionally enable Show first product only to display a single product without a slider. - Discount label – Show a discount percentage badge on linked products. 2. Floating Reels A floating video player that stays anchored to a corner of the screen as customers browse. - Position settings – Pick a corner (e.g., bottom-right) and set Top/Bottom/Left/Right spacing in pixels. - Enable drag widget – Let customers drag and reposition the floating bubble. - Size – Set separate sizes for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile. - Shape – Rectangle or Circle. - Close button – Show or hide the close button, and choose its behavior: No appear again or Reappear after close (set a custom hours/minutes delay). Reminder: Floating Reels uses a theme app embed, so it must also be enabled under Online Store → Themes → App embeds to appear on your storefront. 3. Grid A grid layout showing multiple videos at once, ideal for browsing. - Radius, Spacing, and Product card — same options as above. - Videos per row – Set how many videos appear per row on Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile. - Load more button – Customize the button's background and text color. - Discount label and Video play (Disabled, Play on hover, Autoplay) are also available. 4. Story Instagram-style circular video bubbles, great for storytelling formats. - Alignment – Left or Center. - Border – Set a gradient border with a start color and end color. - Widget width – Set bubble size for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile. - Spacing – Gap between bubbles. - Title – Optionally show a title label below each bubble. - Play settings – Auto play, Play on hover, or No play. Part 2: How to Customize the Video Player The video player is what opens when a customer taps a video from any widget — this is where the actual browsing and purchasing happens, so it deserves its own set of settings. Step 1: Open Player customization From the Customization page, click Customize on the Player card. Step 2: Customize the Player 1. Set your color scheme Under Color scheme, choose Light or Dark, then fine-tune: - Primary color - Background color - Second color - Accent color - Text color These colors apply across buttons, badges, and text throughout the player. 2. Configure the product card In the Product card section, control how linked products are displayed inside the player: - Card background color - Product title, Product price, and optional Original price (for showing strike-through pricing) - CTA button – Customize the background color, text color, and button action (e.g., Add to cart) 3. Set up the discount label Enable Show discount percentage and customize its text color and background color to highlight savings on linked products. 4. Adjust video player behavior Under Video player settings, enable Auto play next video if you want the player to automatically advance through your video playlist. 5. Configure product details Under Product details settings: - Auto show product description – Expand the product description by default. - Show product recommendations – Available on higher plans (Scale tier and above). 6. Enable product reviews Under Product reviews settings: - Toggle Show product reviews to display star ratings and review counts. - Set a Min rating threshold — only reviews at or above this rating will be shown. - Customize the Review color. 7. Set the post-purchase action Under Post add-to-cart action, choose what happens after a customer adds a product to cart from the video (e.g., no redirection, just a toast notification). Best Practices 1. Match your brand Use your store's brand colors in both the widget and player settings so the shopping experience feels native to your storefront, not like a third-party overlay. 2. Keep product cards simple on mobile Since most video engagement happens on mobile, favor cleaner card styles (Minimal or Simple) and smaller Floating Reel sizes for a less intrusive experience. 3. Use discount labels strategically Discount badges draw the eye — reserve them for products with genuine, meaningful discounts to keep them effective. 4. Preview across devices before publishing Always check the Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile previews for each widget and the player, since spacing and sizing can look different across breakpoints. 5. Pair widget type with content style - Grid and Carousel work well for product-focused browsing. - Story suits quick, discovery-driven content. - Highlight is ideal for showcasing a hero video or bestseller. - Floating Reels is best for persistent, always-visible engagement across the site. What to do if your customizations don't appear? If changes to a widget or the player don't show up on your storefront, check the following: - You clicked Save after making changes. - The relevant widget is placed correctly on your theme (via app block or app embed, depending on widget type). - For Floating Reels specifically, the ReelPik Floating Reels app embed is enabled under Online Store → Themes → App embeds. - Your browser cache isn't showing an outdated preview — try a hard refresh or incognito window. - Any feature under a paid tier (e.g., product recommendations) is available on your current plan. If the issue persists, reach out to our support team with a preview link (and store password, if applicable) so we can investigate. Important Notes - Widget-level settings (Radius, Spacing, Product card, etc.) only affect how videos and products are displayed — they don't change your video content or product links. - Player settings apply globally across all widgets, since every widget opens the same video player. - Some Player features (like product recommendations) require an upgraded plan. - Always preview on Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile before publishing changes. We value your feedback — it helps us continuously improve ReelPik and provide you with a better experience. How to show different videos on different product pages?

Overview Sometimes you may want different product pages to have their own videos. For example, you may want Product A to display videos featuring Product A, while Product B shows a completely different set of videos. Currently, there are two ways to control which videos appear on specific product pages in ReelPik: 1. Add the ReelPik Product Videos app block to your product page. 2. Create multiple campaigns and target each campaign to specific products. Each method works differently and has its own advantages and limitations. Method 1: Add the ReelPik Product Videos app block The ReelPik Product Videos block automatically displays videos associated with the product being viewed. This is the easiest option if your goal is simply to show product-specific videos without creating a separate campaign for every product. Step 1: Create a video campaign (Required) You can find how to create a campaign by referring to this article. Note: Link each video to its products so the right videos appear on the right product pages. Step 2: Open the Shopify Theme Editor From your Shopify Admin: 1. Go to Online Store > Themes. 2. Find the theme you want to edit. 3. Click Customize. Step 3: Open your product template From the page selector at the top of the Theme Editor, open your Product template. You can select a product to preview how the videos will look on its product page. Step 4: Add the ReelPik Product Videos block Click Add section and open the Apps tab. Select ReelPik Product Videos. Step 5: Position the block Drag the block to where you want the videos to appear on your product page. Example: You can place the block below the product information or above the recommended products section. Step 6: Save your changes Click Save in the Shopify Theme Editor. The block will automatically show videos associated with the product being viewed. Advantages: - Quick and easy to set up. - No need to create a separate campaign for every product. - Videos automatically change based on the product being viewed. - Easier to manage when your store has many products. Limitations: - Offers less control than a regular ReelPik campaign. - Customization and campaign-level settings are more limited. - Less suitable if you want to manually curate a specific group of videos for each product or run different video campaigns. Method 2: Create multiple campaigns and target specific products If you need more control over the videos, layout, or campaign settings for particular products, you can create separate campaigns and assign each campaign to specific product pages. Step 1: Create a campaign Go to ReelPik > Campaigns and create a campaign. Add the videos you want to display for a particular product or group of products. Example: Create a campaign called Running Shoes Videos, then add only the videos you want customers to see when browsing your Running Shoes products. Step 2: Open Display targeting Scroll down to the Display targeting section and enable Product pages. Step 3: Select specific products Under Targeting rule, select Specific product(s). Then click Add products and select the products where you want this campaign to appear. Step 4: Save the campaign Once you've selected your products, click Save. The campaign will now appear only on the selected product pages. Step 5: Create additional campaigns Repeat the process if other products need different videos. Example: - Running Shoes campaign → Running Shoes products + videos related - T-Shirt campaign → T-Shirt products + videos related - Accessories campaign → Accessories products + videos related This allows each product or group of products to have its own video campaign. Advantages: - Full control over which videos appear on which products. - Access to ReelPik's regular campaign customization options. - Different products can have different campaign designs, videos, and settings. - Useful for promotions or carefully curated product-specific video experiences. Limitations: - You may need to create and manage many campaigns. - Setting up videos product by product can become time-consuming for stores with a large catalog. - When products or videos change, you may need to update multiple campaigns manually. Which method should you use? Choose ReelPik Product Videos if you have many products and want an easier way to automatically show videos related to each product. Choose multiple campaigns with Specific product(s) targeting if you need more control over the videos, design, and settings shown on particular product pages. Example: A store with hundreds of products may find Method 1 much easier to maintain. However, if you're running a special campaign for five selected products and want complete control over their videos and appearance, Method 2 may be a better fit. Coming soon: Product Page Videos We know that both methods have trade-offs. Product Videos is easier to manage but offers less control, while creating multiple campaigns gives you more flexibility but can become difficult to manage at scale. That's why we're working on a new Product Page Videos feature that brings the advantages of both approaches together. It will make it easier to manage videos for individual products without having to create and maintain multiple campaigns, while giving you more control over how those videos appear on your product pages. Coming soon: Product Page Videos is on the way. Stay tuned! How to use snippet code to display the video section?

Overview The Snippet Code feature allows you to manually display a ReelPik video section on your storefront by inserting a snippet into your Shopify theme. This gives you greater flexibility to place the video section exactly where you want, especially for vintage themes that do not support Shopify App Blocks. How to add the snippet code Step 1: Open your campaign and copy the code 1. Go to ReelPik Videos → Campaigns. 2. Open the campaign you want to display. 3. Copy the campaign snippet. Step 2: Enable the app embed 1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. 2. Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar. 3. Enable ReelPik Videos. 4. Click Save. The App Embed must be enabled for the video section to work properly. Step 3: Edit your theme code 1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Click ••• → Edit code on your published theme. 2. Open the Liquid file where you want the video section to appear. 3. Paste the copied snippet into the desired location. 4. Click Save. You can adjust the spacing by edting the snippet code. Example: "style="margin-top: 50px;" Step 4: Verify the video section 1. Refresh your storefront. 2. Confirm that the video section appears in the expected location. 3. If necessary, move the snippet to a different position in the Liquid file to adjust where the video section is displayed. Best Practices For the best experience, we recommend: - Add the snippet only to the pages where you want the video section to appear. - Test the layout on both desktop and mobile devices. - Preview your theme after making changes before publishing. Notes - Snippet code is only required for vintage themes that do not support Shopify App Blocks. - Each campaign has its own unique snippet code. - If you want to display multiple video sections, add the corresponding snippet for each campaign. - Editing theme code requires basic knowledge of Shopify Liquid. - If you're unsure where to place the snippet, contact our support team for assistance. How to create video reviews with creator attribution and captions?

Overview Video reviews are a great way to showcase your products through authentic experiences and give shoppers a more realistic view of how your products look and perform. With Creator attribution and Caption on Videos, you can add more context to your videos and make your review content more engaging and trustworthy: - Creator attribution: Show where the video was imported from, such as Instagram or TikTok, together with the creator's account name. - Caption on Videos: Add a short caption to provide context, highlight the creator's experience, or share key information about the product. See how to setup these 2 features in ReelPik. Add captions to your videos Step 1: Create a campaign and import videos (If you don’t have a campaign yet) From your ReelPik dashboard: 1. Click the Text Edit icon on the video. 3. Enter your caption. Note: Captions can contain up to 100 characters. Step 3: Save the caption and campaign 1. Save the caption. 2. Click Save to save your campaign. Your caption will now be displayed with the video when it appears on your storefront. Part 2: Show creator information with Creator attribution Creator attribution helps shoppers identify the source of your imported content by showing the platform and account name associated with the video. Step 1: Enable Creator attribution 1. Go to Customization. 2. Select the widget type corresponding to the campaign you created. 3. Find Creator attribution . 4. Enable the checkbox to turn it on. Step 2: Save your settings Click Save to apply the changes to your storefront. Once enabled, the video can display information such as the source platform and the creator's account name. Videos imported before this date will not display Creator attribution information. 💡 Tip: Use both features together for better review content For creator or customer review videos, we recommend enabling both features: - Creator attribution shows where the video came from and who created it. - Caption on videos lets you add additional context or a short review message.
